Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 3+ years leading engineering teams of 4–8 members.
• Advanced proficiency with Java (version 17 or higher), Spring, and building applications using microservices architecture.
• Strong working knowledge of relational databases (Postgres) and NoSQL (MongoDB).
• Practical experience with messaging/event-driven systems (RabbitMQ, Kafka).
• Solid background in cloud environments (AWS) with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Skilled communicator with product partners and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the execution and delivery of key projects, ensuring your team produces high-quality, scalable, and robust software solutions
• Balance your time between managing people, driving technical excellence, and making direct contributions to the codebase
• Passionate about building strong teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation, and is comfortable navigating the challenges of a fast-paced startup environment

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional experience.
• 3+ years of proven success leading engineering teams of 4–8 members.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver large-scale technical initiatives and take ownership of key product or platform components.
• Advanced proficiency with Java (version 17 or higher), Spring, and building applications using microservices architecture.
• Strong working knowledge of both relational databases (Postgres) and NoSQL solutions (MongoDB).
• Practical experience with messaging and event-driven systems (RabbitMQ, Kafka).
• Solid background in cloud environments (AWS), along with containerization (Docker) and orchestration frameworks (Kubernetes).
• Skilled communicator with the ability to partner effectively with product leaders, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Passionate about leadership, with a focus on mentoring, career development, and team growth.
