Job summary

TD is offering an Internship/Co-op in Toronto for a Software Engineer role during the Winter term. You will join the Technology group, work with seasoned engineers, and contribute to core banking, customer servicing, or engagement projects.

You will apply SDLC/PM methodologies, tackle real business requirements, and help deliver reliable software while gaining hands-on experience in a collaborative, inclusive environment. Hybrid in-office arrangement in Toronto/Mississauga.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a relevant technology program (e.g., CS, engineering, IT).
• Understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms, and OOP concepts.
• Strong coding, debugging, and problem-solving skills; familiarity with multiple languages.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development/maintenance of software processes and issue prevention.
• Work with partners to define detailed business requirements and design solutions.
• Design, develop and deploy system enhancements; perform tests and documentation.
• Participate in SDLC and methodologies; ensure secure coding practices.
• Collaborate on POC initiatives and provide usability analyses.
