Job summary

Lyft is seeking a Software Engineer for the Driver Earnings team in Toronto. You will lead multiple work streams to improve drivers' experience and incentivize drivers to prefer Lyft, building pay-related products and features.

You will collaborate with product, data science, analytics, and operations to iterate quickly while delighting passengers and drivers. This role is in-office on a hybrid schedule in Toronto.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering (advanced degrees preferred), or relevant work experience.
• Proficiency in SQL - able to write structured and efficient queries on large data sets.
• Experience in programming, especially in Python and/or Golang (preferred but not required).
• Strong oral and written communication skills, and ability to collaborate with and influence cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities

• Partner with product managers, engineers, and operators to build driver earnings related infrastructure and products.
• Design and analyze experiments; communicate results and act on launch decisions
• Work with cross-functional partners in the Driver Experience and Marketplace so earnings related data is available and usable by the various systems that need this data.
• Work on tooling that makes it easier to make changes to driver earnings related configurations.
