Lyft is seeking an experienced software engineer in Toronto for a hybrid in‑office role. You will define roadmaps and architectures with product, data science, and operations teams, drive AI innovation for business analytics, and write robust, maintainable backend code.
Collaborate across teams, review code, mentor peers, and share best practices. You should bring 5+ years of software engineering experience, with strong communication skills and a track record in API design and microservices.

This role will be in‑office on a hybrid schedule. Team members are expected to work in the office at least 3 days per week, including on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Lyft considers working in the office at least 3 days per week to be an essential function of this hybrid role. Hybrid roles have the flexibility to work from anywhere for up to 4 weeks per year.
