Job summary

CARFAX is seeking a Software Engineer to join our Ontario team. You will develop high‑quality, scalable features in a fast‑paced, agile environment, working across backend Java/Kotlin, frontend TS/React, and cloud services.

You’ll collaborate with architects, product managers and other engineers, contribute to design decisions, and ensure robust testing, monitoring and deployment processes. The role requires 2 days per week at the London, ON office with flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software design and development experience.
• Experience with full stack development and modern front-end frameworks.
• Experience with AWS, containers, and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Write high-performing, robust code to deliver features on high-visibility projects.
• Participate in design decisions, research, and prototyping of new technologies.
• Collaborate with Architects, UX designers, PMs and support teams.
• Ensure non-functional requirements are implemented and updated.
• Document processes and architecture for maintainability.
