Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of professional IT experience with Agile and full lifecycle development.
• Advanced proficiency with C#, .NET, ASP.NET, REST API, SOAP-based web services, Crystal Reports, and PowerShell.
• Strong SQL Server knowledge and relational database experience.
• Experience with CI/DevOps tools (TFS, Git, Artifactory, NuGet) and unit testing.
• Experience with Razor and Blazor to build user interfaces.
• Experience with GenAI and Copilot in modern development.

We're looking for a talented Software Engineer-.NET to own meaningful projects that drive real impact for our clients' financial security and wellbeing. What do you need to succeed?

• Core Requirements: Minimum of 3-year professional IT experience demonstrating proficiency with Agile practices and full application development lifecycle expertise.
• Advanced proficiency with C#, .NET, ASP.NET, REST API, SOAP-based web services, Crystal Report, and Powershell.
• Strong SQL and SQL Server knowledge with solid relational database experience.
• Proven expertise with CI/DevOps tools (TFS, Git, Artifactory, NuGet) and unit test automation.
• Experience with Razor and Blazor to build user interface.
• Experience with modern development tools including GenAI and Copilot.

Bonus Qualifications

• Financial services or insurance industry background.
• Experience with Java.

Additional Requirements

• Participate in rotating on-call support for production environments.
• Participate in periodic weekend / after-hours work to support project implementations and system upgrades.
• Flexibility for occasional after-hours work and periodic travel between Sun Life locations.

Unique Requirements

• This role requires Reliability Status Clearance.
