Intellijoint Surgical is seeking a Software Development Manager to lead the R&D software teams delivering native macOS and web applications for medical devices. You will plan releases, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure adherence to quality systems and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include backlog refinement, KPI tracking, risk mitigation, and fostering a culture of quality, delivery, and continuous learning within an agile framework.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical discipline.
• 10+ years of relevant experience with 3+ years leading teams.
• Experience delivering commercial software across the full SDLC.
• Experience with Agile software development and release planning.
• Familiar with regulated industries and medical devices.
• Strong privacy and cybersecurity knowledge.
• Proficient with Jira, Confluence, and Git workflows.
• DevOps practices experience is an asset.

Responsabilités

• Lead software development across multiple product lines.
• Plan, coordinate, and manage software delivery and releases.
• Develop schedules, release plans, and resource forecasts.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and mitigate issues.
• Communicate KPI’s and develop new ones as needed.
• Collaborate with QA, Regulatory, Product and Ops teams.
• Ensure compliance with medical device regulations and DHF.
• Support audits, inspections, and regulatory submissions.
• Promote privacy and cybersecurity best practices.
• Drive continuous improvement and agile process evolution.
