Based in Concord, Ontario, this on-site role connects software, firmware and hardware teams to plan, integrate and release platforms across multiple products. You will lead agile and waterfall projects, produce status metrics, and mentor teams to achieve predictable outcomes in a fast-paced R&D environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science.
• 7+ years in software engineering or project management.
• Experience with embedded hardware, firmware and software.
• Experience in Agile and Waterfall environments.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead platform and application software planning and release coordination.
• Lead system-level integration across software, firmware, hardware and peripherals.
• Collaborate across Software, Firmware, Hardware, Service and Research teams.
• Plan concurrent hardware and software development programs with synchronized integration.
• Support platform evolution balancing features, debt reduction and lifecycle goals.
• Produce status reports, visual management and progress metrics.
• Lead and measure team performance on project tasks.
