Job summary

Turner Fleischer in Toronto is hiring a Software Development Lead to oversee the design, development, and maintenance of custom software that supports studio operations. You will lead a team of developers, establish standards, and guide scalable, secure solutions using .NET, React, MySQL, APIs, and Linux infrastructure.

You will manage lifecycle processes, CI/CD via Azure DevOps, and mentor engineers while collaborating with stakeholders to align software with business needs.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Software Development experience.
• Strong experience with C# and .NET application development.
• Experience developing modern web applications using React.
• Strong knowledge of MySQL and relational database design.
• Experience designing and developing REST APIs and system integrations.
• Experience with Git-based source control and development workflows.
• Experience building and maintaining Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience deploying and supporting applications on Linux-based infrastructure.
• Ability to lead a team, set standards, and mentor developers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, deployment, and ongoing support of custom software applications.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and prioritize software initiatives.
• Define software architecture, standards, and governance across apps, data, and integrations.
• Design and develop software solutions using .NET, React, MySQL, APIs, and Linux infrastructure.
• Oversee CI/CD pipelines and release management using Azure DevOps.
• Lead prototypes and proof-of-concepts to evaluate feasibility.
• Ensure solutions are reliable, scalable, secure, and maintainable.
• Mentor and coach a team of Software Developers through reviews and knowledge sharing.
• Evaluate emerging technologies for automation and workflow optimization.
