A leading technology company located in Metro Vancouver is seeking a Software Development Engineer in the Digital Royalties & Payments team. This role involves solving complex technical problems and driving product direction. Candidates should have over 3 years of software development experience and technical leadership skills. The position offers a salary range of $114,800 to $191,800 yearly, with opportunities for growth in an innovative team focused on digital commerce solutions.

We are looking for a talented Software Development Engineer to join the Digital Royalties and Vendor Payments team. We are a part of the Digital Acceleration org that enables Digital businesses like Prime Video, Books, Music, Appstore, Audible and Games to launch new business lines and products. We are building next generation Royalties and Vendor Payment solutions that will enable Amazon Digital businesses to automate royalty calculation, payment and accounting processes while meeting regulatory requirements. This is a great opportunity to tackle some very interesting and complex architectural problems, innovate in the space and drive product direction. You will work with a team of passionate software engineers and will get an opportunity to learn from experienced technical leaders.
A successful candidate will have an extensive background in building highly scalable, highly available services, strong technical skills, a motivation to achieve results in a fast paced environment, high creativity, and great analytical reasoning skills. The base salary for this position ranges from $114,800/year up to $191,800/year. Salary is based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
