Job summary

Nokia is seeking an experienced software engineer to help build next‑generation SDKs for DSP ASICs and optical networking solutions. You will develop high-performance C/C++ software on Linux and work closely with ASIC, firmware, hardware design, and architecture teams across the full product lifecycle.

The role emphasizes solving complex hardware–software integration challenges, performance optimization, and contributing to SDK APIs and automation to accelerate development.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of software development experience with C/C++.
• Strong debugging skills in Linux environments.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including ASIC, Firmware, Hardware Design, and Architecture, to drive innovation across the entire product lifecycle. Qualifications

What We're Looking For:

• 2-4 years of experience in software development using C/C++.
• Strong programming and debugging skills in Linux environments.
• Understanding of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and embedded software concepts.
• Familiarity with embedded systems, networking protocols, DSP, ASICs, or telecommunications is a plus.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Shell scripting is desirable.
