Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC in Toronto is seeking a motivated QA Co-op to design and develop high-quality automated tests for UI and backend microservices. You will join the Workforce Engagement Management team and contribute to our cloud-native products in a fast-paced environment.

You will learn agile testing practices, CD concepts, and test automation design, while collaborating with colleagues in the Toronto office.

Qualifications

  • Actively enrolled in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related disciplines.
  • Able to commit to a 12mo Co-op Program.
  • Show passion within school and/or personal projects.
  • Self-motivated, pro‑active, dynamic team player with a positive attitude that enjoys collaborating with others.
  • Willingness to learn and pick up new technologies.
  • Solid communication skills.
  • Experience with software engineering in Java (or similar OOP languages).
  • Understands that QA is an integral part of development, not an activity at the end of the process.

The Workforce Engagement Management (WEM) QA Team is looking for an enthusiastic individual that is dedicated to learning and contributing to continued innovation in areas that provide solutions in our testing framework to maintain the quality of our ever-growing cloud-native products. You will have an opportunity to develop high quality automation tests for both our UI and backend microservices. It will be a fast-paced environment that will focus on continuous change, innovation and experimentation.

As a part of the intern momentum in our Canada region, you will be a key member of our team, learning about many aspects of agile testing methodologies and continuous delivery (CD) including design, implementation, testing, bug fixing and test automation. There is no limit to what you can accomplish in the internship.

This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range listed below. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a commission or performance-based bonus opportunities.
