Job summary

Siemens Canada is seeking a graduate/co‑op to join its Concord, ON team. You will develop software in C# or ASP.NET, fix issues, validate functionality, and assist in test/automation solutions.

You’ll collaborate with an experienced engineering group on hardware integration for electronics manufacturing testing, while supporting process optimization and efficient development workflows. The role requires a completed degree in Computer Science or Electronics/Engineering within the last 12 months

Qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Science, Electronics or related Engineering field within the last 12 months.
  • Experience with at least one of C#, ASP.NET, or MS SQL.
  • Solid understanding of object‑oriented design and programming principles.
  • Experience with instrumentation is a plus.
  • General electronics knowledge is helpful.
  • Exposure to manufacturing systems is an asset.
  • Willingness to work on‑site in Concord, ON, 3 days per week.

Responsibilities

  • Develop software in C# or ASP.NET.
  • Fix bugs in C# or ASP.NET.
  • Validate software functionality.
  • Assist in test and automation solution development.
  • Support production and software validation.
  • Collaborate with a skilled engineering team on designs.
  • Test/validation development and designs.

What will you do?
  • Develop software in C# or ASP.NET
  • Fix bugs in C# or ASP.NET

  • Implement software and hardware solutions, including hardware procurement, integration, qualification, and installation support for electronics manufacturing testing
  • Assist in developing and updating work instructions
  • Contribute to process optimization and improving development efficiency
What will you need to succeed?
  • Completed Degree in Computer Science , Electronics/ Electrical Engineering or related Engineering fields in the last 12 months
  • Experience with at least one of the following: C#, ASP.NET, and MS SQL
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented design and programming principles
  • Experience with instrumentation (Power Supplies, Oscilloscopes, Multimeters, etc.) is an asset
  • General knowledge of electronics
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing systems is an asset
  • Exposure to engineering project development and support
  • Strong work ethic and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to adapt to change and learn new technologies quickly
  • Flexibility to work in a fast‑paced environment
  • Must be able to work on‑site at the Concord, ON location, 3 days per week.

Hourly rate is commensurate with experience, and ranges between $33 CAD- $44 CAD.
