Job summary

Siemens Canada is seeking a dynamic Sales Specialist to drive growth in the Motion Control segment within Digital Industries. You will identify customer needs, propose tailored automation solutions, and build long-term relationships across manufacturing, automotive, and electronics sectors.

Responsibilities include developing sales strategies, delivering compelling product demonstrations, and collaborating with engineering teams to design customized solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
  • 3+ years of experience in industrial automation or motion control sales.
  • Strong understanding of PLCs, mechatronics, robotics, and control systems.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings.

What will you do?

This role involves identifying customer needs, proposing tailored automation solutions, and building long-term relationships across various industrial sectors including manufacturing, automotive, and electronics.

What will you need to succeed?
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
  • 3+ years of experience in industrial automation or motion control sales.
  • Strong understanding of PLCs, mechatronics, robotics, and control systems.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite; SAP experience is an asset.
  • Ability to travel across Ontario as needed.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience working with OEMs, system integrators, and end-users.
  • Knowledge of Industry 4.0 technologies and digital transformation initiatives.

[Hourly rate is commensurate with experience, and ranges between $ 38.00 CAD - $ 48.00 CAD. In addition to hourly compensation, this role includes participation in our Sales Incentive Plan contingent on achievement of sales targets as defined and updated from time to time by the Company.]
