Job summary

Canaccor Genuity Corp. in Montreal is seeking a Backend Developer with deep expertise in .NET to join the Applications and Integrations team in the Finlogik Group. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain robust backend services and APIs, with strong emphasis on secure integration with third-party platforms.

You will prototype AI tools, work with Azure services, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines while collaborating with product, operations, and compliance in an agile environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of professional back-end development with deep expertise in C#/.NET (ASP.NET Core, RESTful Web APIs, Entity Framework Core).
• Familiarity with core CS concepts (OOP, data structures, algorithms).
• REST/HTTP, JSON, serialization.
• Git, branching, pull requests, code reviews.
• Writing and running unit tests (xUnit).

Responsibilities
