What you'll contribute

We are looking for a Software Developer in Test to make our user experience on our platform more delightful and reliable for our millions of users. The ideal candidate has a strong web development background, is thorough, independent, and possesses a great product sense. You'll be a key part of a fast-paced team of passionate builders to preserve critical thinking for humanity.

• Test our chrome extension and web application, executing detailed test plans on a variety of browsers and operating systems
• Created detailed error reports using video recording software and task management software
• Create automated E2E tests to gate new releases using our drag-and-drop E2E testing tool
• Work with our engineering team live to reproduce and understand errors and improve our platforms robustness

Qualifications

• 3+ YOE in QA or web development
• Experience with web development (e.g. functions, algorithms, etc)
• Very familiar with Chrome debugger (console, network, application windows)
• Ability to code using Javascript, HTML and CSS (i.e. has coded websites before)
• Highly motivated to make impact in a fast-moving workplace
• Degree in IT/Computer Science or 4 years of work experience
• Fluent in English
• You can either be hybrid in Toronto/New York City (with work authorization) or remote with ability to attend meetings 9am-6pm Eastern Standard Time
