Job summary

GPTZero, Inc. is hiring a product manager to own discovery, define requirements, and drive execution for AI-powered products. You will work closely with design, engineering, and research teams to validate user problems and set success metrics.

You will navigate uncertainty and evolving model behavior, making decisions with limited data while iterating based on user feedback. A startup background is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience owning B2C/prosumer products end to end.
• Comfort building structure where none exists as GPTZero’s first PM.
• Deep understanding of AI-powered products, model limitations and user trust.

What we’re looking for

• Strong product judgment with 3-5 years of experience owning B2C/prosumer products end to end

• Comfort working without established PM processes and building structure that meaningfully improves outcomes. You will be GPTZero’s first product manager.

• Deep understanding of AI-powered products, including model limitations, tradeoffs, and user trust implications

• Strong collaboration skills with designers, engineers, and researchers to drive alignment and execution.

• High ownership mindset with a bias toward action, learning, and iteration

  Bonus

  • Experience as an early or first PM at a startup

  • Experience working closely with ML or research teams
