Job summary

Säker seeks an Industrial Designer to own product design for softgoods and dog gear, from concept to production-ready files. You’ll develop materials, stitching logic, and durability-driven decisions, and create clear tech packs with BOMs and callouts.

Collaborating with factories and the founder, you’ll manage sampling, iterations, and documentation to ensure design integrity and manufacturability, with strong attention to detail and quality.

Qualifications

• Experience designing softgoods and taking products from concept to production.
• Ability to create precise, factory-ready tech packs with BOMs and callouts.
• Strong understanding of materials, construction, and durability.
• Collaborates well with suppliers to resolve manufacturability challenges.
• Optional experience designing hardware components and CAD-based manufacturing files.

Responsibilities

• Own product design for softgoods and dog gear from concept to production.
• Develop materials, construction details, stitching logic, and durability-focused decisions.
• Create clear tech packs with measurements, tolerances, and labeling.
• Manage sampling and iteration cycles; review and update specs quickly.
