The Simcoe County District School Board is seeking a Social Worker for a 1.0 FTE temporary position to May 5, 2027. Reporting to the Manager of Social Work Services, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to support student mental health and well-being.
You will provide individual and small group counselling, perform suicide risk assessment, and collaborate with families, school staff and community partners to promote safe schools and proactive prevention.

This position is a thirty-five (35) hour work week and is based on working the school year - ten (10) months and ten (10) days. The compensation range for this position is $70,213 to $86,209 per year. Compensation for candidates who hold their Master of Social Work is $77,663 to $95,507 per year. This is a unionized position and union dues are applicable. The nature of this position will require the successful candidate to service large geographical areas, mileage reimbursement at the Board approved rate.

Participation in the OMERS Pension Plan is mandatory for all full-time permanent employees, even if currently in receipt of an OMERS pension.
