Job summary

McMan is seeking a Casual Transportation Support Staff (Driver) for the Family Development Program in Rocky Mountain House. This on-site role requires transporting clients, completing related paperwork, and occasional travel within Central Alberta.

A Class 5 license and reliable vehicle are needed, with travel reimbursement provided. The position is part-time with flexible afternoons/evenings and weekends, offering $18.00 per hour and travel reimbursement of $0.57 per km.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required.
  • 1 year of experience with children or vulnerable populations.
  • Proof of professional association membership when applicable.
  • Basic First Aid Level C with adult, child, and infant CPR&AED.
  • Suicide Intervention and De-Escalation Training.
  • Intervention and vulnerable-sector criminal checks.
  • Class 5 driver’s license with clean abstract and reliable vehicle.
  • $2 million third-party liability coverage.

Responsibilities

  • Transport clients to and from supervised visits, appointments and programs.
  • Complete paperwork related to transporting clients.
  • Travel to various Central Alberta locations; some regional travel.
  • Install McMan approved car seats.

Our Family Development Program located in Rocky Mountain House is seeking a:

Casual Transportation Support Staff (Driver)

The Family Development Program provides caring and professional family support to help develop positive family relationships by teaching parenting, living, communication and behavior management skills. This program helps children, youth and parents struggling with a variety of issues. Clients are referred to this program from their local Children Services office.

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
  • High School Diploma
  • Required 1 year of experience working with children or vulnerable populations
  • Proof of Membership in Professional Association (when applicable)
  • Basic First Aid Level C with adult, child, and infant CPR &AED
  • Suicide Intervention Training & De-Escalation Training
  • Intervention Record Check & Criminal Record Check with the vulnerable sector
  • Class 5 driver’s license, clean drivers abstract and reliable vehicle for client transportation
  • 2 Million third party liability coverage
Responsibilities
  • Transporting clients to and from; supervised visits, appointments and programs

Hourly Wage: $18.00 per hour., Travel Reimbursement at $0.57/KM.
