What You’ll Be Doing
- Edit and produce high-converting video ads optimized for paid social media campaigns.
- Develop engaging hooks and structures that immediately capture attention and retain viewers.
- Apply proven ad frameworks like AIDA (Attention, Interest, Desire, Action), PAS (Problem, Agitate, Solution), and others to structure compelling ad creatives.
- Create multiple variations of ads to test and iterate for maximum performance.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to analyze ad performance and adjust creative strategies accordingly.
- Incorporate compelling captions, motion graphics, and call-to-actions to drive engagement and conversions.
- Stay updated with social media trends, platform algorithms, and best practices to keep ads competitive.
- Optimize video formats, durations, and aspect ratios for different platforms (e.g., 9:16 for TikTok, 16:9 for YouTube, 4:5 for Facebook).
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience creating high-converting video ads for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Pinterest.
- A strong understanding of direct response marketing and what motivates purchases.
- Knowledge of advertising frameworks (AIDA, PAS, Hook-Story-Offer, etc.).
- Experience testing and optimizing ad creatives based on performance data.
- Ability to write compelling ad scripts and structure videos that drive action.
- Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, or similar).
- Experience with motion graphics, text overlays, and captions to enhance storytelling.
- A keen eye for trends in short-form content and ad creative styles that perform well.
- A portfolio of real-world video ads that have achieved measurable results (sales, leads, conversions).
- Experience with UGC-style ad editing.
- Background in performance marketing or paid media.
- Understanding of DTC (direct-to-consumer) brands and e-commerce marketing.
