Base pay range

CA$85,000.00/yr - CA$95,000.00/yr

Our client, a globally recognized leader in their field, is growing their digital and social media team. The purpose of the role is to deliver integrated marketing and communication campaigns that align with their global business objectives.

The successful candidate must communicate perfectly in French and English and be based in Montreal, working 3 days in the office.

Key Tasks:

Performance & Delivery

  • Develop and implement a global social media strategy that aligns with the business goals and objectives.
  • Ensure the strategy includes clear growth targets, audience targeting, and content alignment across all platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
  • Lead competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, and audience identification.

Content Management

  • Oversee the creation of engaging, relevant, and timely content that aligns with brand image and growth targets.
  • Collaborate with global content providers to build a robust content pipeline.
  • Lead the creation and management of editorial calendars, ensuring efficient and timely posting of content.
  • Passionate about the role of social media in articulating strategic business goals to an external audience.
  • Exhibit confident, credible, persuasive communication, relationship building, and stakeholder management skills across the internal and external landscape.
  • Able to deal calmly with conflicting deadlines and demands.
  • Participate as an effective team member in working collaboratively with your leader, peers, and relevant others (including from other teams) to achieve business goals across the globe.

Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of the latest digital marketing trends and technologies.
  • Strong analytical thinking skills.

Technical Skills:

  • Minimum 5 years experience.
  • Strong experience working with social media management software.
  • Knowledge of social media advertising methods/approaches.
  • Experience in working with and explaining key social media and web metrics using innovative formats.
