Job summary

McGill University’s Desautels Communications team seeks a part-time student to ideate and create student-first social content, drafting and scheduling posts for Instagram and LinkedIn, and sourcing light photo/video edits. You will contribute authentic campus perspectives to engage peers.

Strong writing, visual judgment and a solid sense of current social trends are essential, with familiarity with scheduling tools an asset.

Position Summary

Supports the Desautels Communications team by ideating and creating student-first social content: generating post and reel concepts from a student perspective, drafting and scheduling Instagram/LinkedIn content, sourcing and lightly editing photo/video.

Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities

Strong writing and visual judgment required, with skills in Reels/short-form video and awareness of current social media trends; familiarity with social scheduling tools an asset. Must be a current McGill student able to work independently on a flexible schedule.

Eligibility
