Job summary

McGill University is seeking a part-time Social Media Assistant to support the Desautels Engagement team. You will ideate and create student-first social content, draft and schedule posts for Instagram and LinkedIn, and lightly edit photo/video to enhance posts.

Applicants must be McGill students, able to work independently with a flexible schedule, and willing to work on campus in Montreal. The AMUSE unit offers an hourly wage and part-time hours.

Qualifications

• Strong writing and visual judgement required, with skills in Reels/short-form video and awareness of current social media trends.
• Familiarity with social scheduling tools is an asset.
• Must be a current McGill student able to work independently on a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities
