Job summary

Mosaic North America is offering a permanent part-time role sampling products at Sobeys stores. Shifts run Thursday to Sunday with afternoon hours; training is provided before your first shift, and scheduling is based on business needs.

You will promote products, share information with customers, and aim to hit sampling targets while preparing simple food and beverages and keeping the station clean. You will report after each shift.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Smart Serve Certification and Food Handler Certificate prior to the interview.
• Previous customer service, retail, or sales experience preferred.

Position Details

This is a permanent part-time opportunity offering ongoing casual shifts throughout the year.

Scheduling is based on business needs, and weekly shifts are not guaranteed.

Training is also provided before your first shift!

Schedule:

• Thursday & Friday: 1:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
• Saturday & Sunday: 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Salary: $21/per hour

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Smart Serve Certification and Food Handler Certificate prior to the interview
• Must be fully available Thursday-Sunday
• Previous customer service, retail, or sales experience preferred
• Must have access to own car and be able to Paris or Simcoe if required.
• Confident engaging with customers and delivering key product messaging
• Ability to stand for the duration of a shift and assist with the setup and teardown of the sampling station (all materials stored on-site)
• Access to a smartphone with photo capabilities and to complete reporting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and represent brands professionally in a retail environment
