Job summary

CSL is seeking a Snowplow / Heavy Equipment Operator Crew Lead in Canada to lead a team of snow removal professionals while operating snowplows and other heavy equipment.

Start date is November 1, 2025. You will help keep communities safe and accessible through the winter season, with on-call hours and long shifts during peak days.

Qualifications

• G2 license and clean driver's abstract required.
• Experience operating a snowplow and/or heavy equipment.
• Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
• Open availability for on-call work.
• Ability and willingness to work long hours during peak days.
• Access to a mobile phone for communication.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Motivation, dedication, and a focus on safety and efficiency.
• Physically fit – lift 50 lbs or more.

The Role: Snowplow / Heavy Equipment Operator / Snow Removal Crew Lead

Earn $25-$30/hr + Guaranteed Pay Options*
Paid bi-weekly

You can earn $25-$30 per hour, depending on experience and reliability. As a Snowplow and Heavy Equipment Operator Crew Lead at CSL, you will lead a team of snow removal professionals while operating snowplows and other heavy equipment. You will play a key role in keeping our communities safe and accessible throughout the winter season.

There will be long hours, undesirable weather, and those “why am I awake right now?” moments, but you’ll be part of a team of passionate and dedicated professionals who will support you every step of the way.

• Reliable transportation to and from job sites (we are not accessible by public transit)

• Open availability for on-call work (snow likes to fall at night - hours may be very late or very early)

Compensation

• $25-$30/hour, based on experience and reliability

• Guaranteed Pay Options* during the snow season

• Paid bi-weekly

• Opportunity for full-time, year-round employment if desired at the end of the contract
