Position Type: Seasonal, Part Time & Full Time

Hours of Work: Variable, midweek days, weekends, evenings, holidays

Rate: $1 8.85 – $27.20/hr depending on certifications and supervisor experience

Term: Mid November to end of March

Job Overview:

Responsibilities of the Snow School Team Leader include maintaining a safe and fun environment for guests and staff, training staff, leading a team, delegating lessons, scheduling, payroll, guest interaction, ensuring resort policies and procedures are upheld, and supporting fellow resort supervisors and the Snow School Manager . This is an exciting, fast-paced position with ongoing training opportunities, job support and room to grow.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Candidates must have at least five years of Snow School, resort or similar experience.
• Candidates must have a high level of skiing and/or snowboarding skills; CSIA, CASI or ACA-CSC certification is preferred.
• Ability to present and communicate in a professional manner.
• Ability to guide and mentor staff and address performance shortfalls when they occur.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft applications.
• Must be detail-oriented and responsible.
