Job summary

Golderado Contracting Corporation is seeking a skilled skid steer operator for snow removal on an on-call basis across Canada. You will inspect, operate, and maintain skid steer equipment, while upholding safety standards and working with a team.

Requirements include 1–2 years of skid steer experience, CSTS 2020, WHMIS 2015, a valid license, and strong English communication. Benefits include health, pension, RRSP matching, and vacation pay.

Qualifications

• One to two years of skid steer experience.
• CSTS 2020 and WHMIS 2015 are required.
• Ground Disturbance and H2S Alive are assets.
• Must be able to lift up to 9–23 kg.
• Safety-conscious and able to work in a team.
• Valid driver’s license and clean abstract within 30 days of start date.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Proficient English language skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect skid steer, loader and equipment prior to use and ensure it is in good repair.
• Operate skid steer, loader and equipment safely and effectively.
• Perform maintenance and keep detailed maintenance logs.
• Clean and lubricate machinery and equipment.
• Adhere to health and safety standards and ensure equipment operates at maximum capacity.
• Determine safe lifting capacities and excavate, lift, load or move snow.
• Provide assistance to labourers as required.
