Job summary

GRM Inc. seeks reliable Skid Steer Operators for winter snow removal across Kelowna and West Kelowna. The role involves clearing snow from commercial properties and parking lots using late-model skid steers in a heated cab, with on-call shifts during November to March.

The position offers competitive pay of $30.00 per hour, with a focus on safety, efficiency, and quality workmanship. Applicants should have a valid Class 5 license and be able to travel to staging sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 5 driver’s license with reliable transportation to staging sites.
• Minimum 1 year skid steer operation experience (snow removal preferred).
• On-call availability from November through March.
• Strong commitment to safety, efficiency and independent workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to on-call dispatch for snow and ice events (day, night, and weekend shifts).
• Safely and efficiently clear snow on assigned commercial sites according to site maps.
• Perform pre-shift and post-shift machine inspections.
• Communicate effectively with Zone Leader during operations.
