Job summary

Unique Landscape Services in Hamilton, ON is seeking a Snow Removal Sidewalk Crew Member for the winter season. The role runs from November 15 to April 15, with on-call shifts including days, nights, weekends and holidays, and weekly standby pay of $150.

You'll clear snow and apply de-icing materials at commercial and condo properties throughout Hamilton and surrounding areas, reporting to the Jerseyville yard before each snow event. Weekly pay is provided.

Qualifications

• Able to shovel snow and lift 20 KG salt bags.
• Available for on-call snow events during the winter.
• Reliable transportation to Jerseyville yard.

Position Overview

This seasonal position runs from November 15 to April 15. You'll clear snow and apply de-icing materials to sidewalks, walkways, entrances, driveways and stairs at commercial and condo properties throughout Hamilton and the surrounding area.

Please note:

Snow removal is weather-dependent, meaning there are no guaranteed hours or regular schedule. Team members are on-call throughout the winter and respond to snow and ice events as needed, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Key Responsibilities

• Clear snow using shovels, snow blowers, and sidewalk equipment (Ventrac SSV).
• Apply salt and other de-icing materials.
• Work safely and efficiently while maintaining our quality standards.
• Report to our yard in Jerseyville, ON (between Ancaster and Brantford) before each snow event.
