Job summary

Erosion Control Central Ltd. (ECC) is seeking Winter Snow Removal Labourers to join our Edmonton team for the upcoming season. We value reliability, physical stamina, and a positive team attitude.

You will shovel snow, operate snow sweepers and blowers, apply ice-control materials, and assist with safe, thorough snow clearing at sidewalks and transit centers. Qualifications

• Previous snow removal or general labour experience is an asset.
• Physically capable of performing demanding outdoor work in cold winter conditions.
• Reliable transportation to designated meeting locations or worksites.
• Ability to work flexible hours and respond to changing weather conditions.
• Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to safely operate snow removal equipment or willingness to learn.
• Dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual snow removal on sidewalks, walkways, transit centres, and other designated areas.
• Operate walk-behind snow sweepers, snow blowers, and other snow removal equipment.
• Shovel snow and clear areas inaccessible to larger equipment.
• Apply ice control materials as required.
• Work alongside equipment operators to ensure efficient and thorough snow clearing.
• Maintain equipment and complete basic daily inspections.
• Follow company safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment.
• Respond to snow events, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
