We offer training, safety equipment, and the potential for continued or permanent employment for the right candidate. Pay ranges from $21.00 to $30.00 per hour, with seasonal winter work and flexible hours including overnights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating large construction equipment.
• Experience with snow removal and/or snow plowing is an asset.
• Strong understanding of equipment and job-site safety.
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation to and from work.
• Ability to work outdoors in cold, snowy, and changing weather conditions.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including overnight, early morning, weekends, and during snow events.
• Reliable, hardworking, and safety-focused.
• Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.

For over 26 years, Futurescape Landscaping has proudly served the Greater Sudbury community through landscaping, hardscaping, and commercial snow removal.

We’re looking for experienced Snow Removal Equipment Operators and Snow Plow Operators to join our winter team. If you’re comfortable operating equipment, work well in challenging winter conditions, and take pride in doing the job safely and properly, we want to hear from you.

The Role

As a Snow Removal Equipment Operator, you’ll play an important role in keeping our commercial properties safe and accessible throughout the winter season. This role may start in September 2026.

Responsibilities:

• Operate equipment such as loaders, backhoes, mini-excavators, skid steers, and other equipment as required.
• Operate snow removal equipment, including loaders and plows.
• Perform daily pre-operation equipment inspections.
• Report equipment issues, hazards, or maintenance concerns.
• Follow all company health and safety procedures and OHSA requirements.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas.
• Work safely and efficiently as part of a team.
• Respond to changing weather conditions and snow removal priorities.
• Provide professional service while working on commercial properties.
• Complete assigned work safely, efficiently, and to company standards.
