Job summary

Val Saint-Côme is seeking a Snow Groomer Operator to shape trails and deliver high-quality ski conditions. This role involves operating heavy machinery with a variable schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays.

You will perform pre-start checks, review prior shift work, safely drive the groomer, and apply grooming techniques to improve snow conditions while maintaining logs and reducing costs. On-site location in Quebec, Canada.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in snow grooming or heavy machinery.
• Good physical condition and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-start checks on the groomer.
• Review the work from the previous shift and prioritized tasks.
• Safely drive the groomer to maintain trails, snow parks and events.
• Apply grooming techniques (tiller grooming, snow spreading, filling, breaking ice patches).
• Keep the trail maintenance logbook.
• Use the machinery efficiently to reduce operating costs.
• Any other related tasks.
