Job summary

Val Saint-Côme is seeking a Snowmaking Attendant to help produce snow on the mountain and set up equipment for nightly operations. You’ll work outdoors in cold conditions, operating snow guns, hydrants and related gear, with a team of operators to ensure smooth shifts.

You should be able to drive ATVs and snowmobiles, lift up to 20 kg, and work flexible day/evening/night shifts seven days a week. Training provided; benefits include meals, parking, and employee assistance.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's licence.
• Ability to use hand tools.
• Experience driving ATVs and snowmobiles.
• Good physical condition for outdoor work in cold.

Responsibilities

• Set up/start/stop and move snow guns manually or with motorized gear.
• Ensure hydrants are functioning properly.
• Use propane torch to thaw equipment.
• Check supply lines, hoses and fittings.
• Monitor snow quality continuously.
• Roll up hoses.
• Safely operate ATVs, snowmobiles and side-by-sides per policies.
• Perform other related tasks.
