Job summary

Clubshop | US is seeking a Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain agricultural machinery. You will travel to local farms, use John Deere programs for manuals and diagnostics, and work with a team to keep equipment running efficiently.

The role requires a Journeyperson Certificate in HET or AET, 4+ years in ag equipment repair, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Competitive pay, benefits, training, and a supportive team await.

Qualifications

  • Education: Journeyperson Certificate – Heavy Equipment Technician (HET) or Agricultural Equipment Technician (AET).
  • Experience: 4+ years in agriculture equipment repair or a related field. Previous John Deere agricultural equipment and product experience is an asset.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and computer-based diagnostic tools.
  • People-Focused: Team player with a friendly, professional attitude and focus on customer service.
  • Soft Skills: Attention to Detail, strong time management, ability to work independently, and adaptability.
  • Physical Capability: Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs with long periods of standing and walking.
  • Valid Driver's License: You'll need this for travel to service calls.
  • Training and Development: We keep our team current by investing twice as much in training as any other John Deere dealer in Southern Alberta both inside and outside of our dealership.
  • Paid Time Off: 3 weeks in your first year of employment.
