Job summary

Wainbee in Etobicoke, ON is seeking an experienced Small Engine Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and service a range of small engines and commercial equipment. You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic and fuel systems, and maintain safety and efficiency across shop operations.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in automotive/mechanical work, holds a valid Class G licence, and can lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of automotive/mechanical experience.
• Experience repairing small engines, power equipment, or similar machinery.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical, electrical, fuel, and hydraulic systems.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a shop environment.
• Valid Class G Driver's Licence (required).

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain small engines and commercial equipment.
• Service pressure washers, pumps, generators, and related machinery.
• Perform preventative maintenance and routine equipment inspections.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, fuel, and hydraulic system issues.
