Job summary

Flynn Canada Ltd. in Winnipeg is seeking a skilled Small Engine and Equipment Mechanic to maintain and repair fleet equipment at our Winnipeg location. You will perform scheduled service, oil changes, lubrication, and tune-ups, and troubleshoot heavy equipment.

We prefer licensed mechanics and value hydraulic experience; welding certification is a plus. Tools are provided, and we offer career development through Flynn University and benefits including RRSP matching.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of mechanical experience with fleet equipment and small engine repairs.
• Licensed mechanic preferred.
• Hydraulic experience is an asset.
• Welding certificate is an asset.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Specialty tools and hand tools supplied.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance on field equipment including oil changes, lubrication and tune ups.
• Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of field equipment.
• Repair small engines and equipment.
• Repair heavy equipment such as bobcats, conveyors, asphalt equipment.

A Day In The Life

Performing scheduled maintenance service, such as oil changes, lubrications and tune ups

Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of field equipment

Small engine and equipment repair

Heavy equipment: bob cats, conveyors, asphalt equipment repairs

What We Are Seeking

Previous mechanical experience (3-5 years’) working on fleet equipment and small engine repairs

Specialty tools and hand tools supplied

Licensed mechanic is preferred

Hydraulic experience would be an asset

Welding certificate would be an asset

Valid Driver’s License
