Job summary

Boardwalk is hiring a maintenance painter/associate to keep rental suites in top condition and safe for our customers. The role involves painting, drywall work, touch-ups and coordinating with contractors to meet schedules.

The position emphasizes strong customer service, teamwork and the ability to manage multiple tasks. Competitive wages, benefits and development supports are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years painting experience required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the health, comfort and safety of our Customers.
• Ensure daily communication with the Leader and team members.
• Suite maintenance and touch ups as per established quality standards.
• Ensure proper cleaning and maintenance of equipment.
• Drywall removal, repair and replacement.
• Ceiling stipple repair and replacement.
• Prepare surfaces for painting by mudding, sanding, patching etc.
• Painting suites as scheduled.
• Ensure contractors arrive as per scheduled timelines and complete their work as per the conditions of contract.
• Ensure proper and accurate inventory management.
• Complete all required paperwork for the position.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by the Leader.
• Work in compliance with Health and Safety regulations.
• Work as a team with other staff members to ensure goals are met.

Experience And Educational Requirements

• Minimum 2 years painting experience required

Sprayer Application Experience Required

• Experience with cabinet installation, water restoration, mould remediation, pest control, confined space work, etc. would be an asset

Technical Requirements

• Working knowledge of English language both verbal and written
• Complete all required administration for the position on a tablet
