Job summary

A self-governing First Nation in the Okanagan Valley is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist/Literacy Coach to enhance student supports and programming. This full-time position (32 hours/week) will focus on developing collaborative programs and providing literacy interventions for Indigenous children. Preferred candidates will have a Master's Degree and relevant experience, especially in working with diverse communities. Applications are due by midnight on February 15th, 2026.

Qualifications

  • Requires registration with the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of BC.
  • Criminal Record check with Vulnerable Sector Search is necessary.
  • Experience working with Indigenous children is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop programs for students with speech language concerns.
  • Diagnose and measure delays and disorders in students.
  • Schedule extra support and programming for students.
