Job summary

Gateway Casinos & Entertainment Limited is seeking a Slot Supervisor for Cascades Casino on a casual/relief basis. You will lead frontline staff, oversee slot operations and ensure a safe, welcoming environment for guests and team members.

The role requires at least two years of supervisory casino experience, cash handling and strong customer service. We offer competitive benefits, development opportunities and flexible hours within Canada.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of supervisory experience in casino/hospitality preferred.
• Post-secondary education or combination of education and experience an asset.
• Experience handling cash and working with the public.
• Superior customer service and people management skills.
• Extensive knowledge of slot machine functions is an asset.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• A willingness to develop new skills and stay on top of the latest industry news and insights.

Responsibilities

• Supervise frontline team members and assign work duties.
• Manage slot machine reservations and promote casino initiatives.
• Coach and mentor employees and create an engaging work environment.
• Manage schedules as required.
• Work in compliance with internal controls, company policies and procedures and/or provincial lottery/ gaming policies and procedures.
• Manage or report any violations and elevate to the appropriate level as necessary.
• Acquire and maintain a knowledge of all slot operations policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned based on operational needs.
