Job summary

Saputo is seeking a Caser Stacker, Skilled Worker, to operate the caser/stacker area, adjust line settings for product changes, and maintain cleanliness. Role reports to Production Supervisor and supports quality standards in a dairy processing setting.

Responsibilities include setup, startup, cleaning, minor repairs, and ensuring continuous product flow while adhering to BRC/HACCP standards and safety requirements. Position involves some heavy lifting in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 education required.
• Experience in a food or dairy environment preferred.
• Must have or obtain a Forklift License.

Responsibilities

• Set up, start up and operate caser/stacker area with proper line supply.
• Clean work area and equipment using cleaning chemicals as required.
• Report mechanical failures and perform minor repairs when possible.
• Sort products on hold or with issues, and assist with waste/recycling.
• Maintain adherence to BRC and HACCP standards.
• Able to perform heavy lifting and support Saputo quality standards.

Ready to bring your best? Overview of the role: Saputo Dairy Products Canada G.P. is seeking a Caser Stacker, Skilled Worker, for an existing opportunity within our organization. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, this position is responsible for operating the case filling and case stacking machinery, while adjusting line settings for product changes, removing substandard product, and maintaining cleanliness in the work area.

Schedule and Salary

Schedule: Varying Days and Hours Salary: $24.50

Responsibilities

• Responsible for setup, start up and the operation of caser/stacker area, ensuring case supply to caser equipment and conveyors are properly working
• Regular cleaning of associated work area and equipment operated using cleaning chemical
• Report mechanical failures and repair minor breakdowns
• Sort and recycle products on hold, leakers etc.
• Complete necessary documents to maintain BRC and HACCP standards
• Some heavy lifting required
• Supports and maintains Saputo Dairy Products Canada G.P. quality standards
• All other departmental duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Grade 12 education
• Working knowledge in food or dairy environment
• Working knowledge of chemicals
• Must have or obtain a Forklift License
• Must be a person who can multi-task and enjoys working in a dynamic environment
• A high commitment level and a team player who works well with everyone
• Can easily assume additional responsibility, as required
• Quick at assessing the facts and making a sound decision
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
