Job summary

MATRIX is seeking skilled Labourers to join projects across Canada. In this role you will perform skilled labour tasks including general carpentry, site readiness, and hands-on work, at various project sites. This fly-in/fly-out position offers a safe and supportive work environment.

You must be comfortable outdoors, physically able, and have valid work status in Canada. Experience with carpentry and power tools is required; assets include skidsteer, forklift, and loader experience.

Qualifications

• Experience with general carpentry is required.
• Experience using power tools is required.
• Strong safety mindset and ability to follow site procedures.
• Physically able to perform skilled labour tasks, including lifting.
• Comfortable working outdoors and in field/remote conditions.
• Valid working status in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Perform general carpentry tasks as assigned (repairs, assemblies, and site support work)
• Use power tools safely and effectively (as required)
• Support material handling, staging, and site preparation
• Complete housekeeping/clean-up to maintain safe and organized work areas
• Assist trades and site crews as required (within scope of skilled labour responsibilities)
• Follow all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) procedures and report hazards immediately

Job Description
