Job summary

North Echo Inc. in Bracebridge, Ontario, is seeking a skilled labourer to join our design/build team on waterfront cottage projects. You will work under the Lead Carpenter, Site Supervisor and Project Manager on a site with 8-10 hour shifts, Monday to Friday.

The role requires a valid Ontario driver's license, ability to lift 80 pounds, basic hand tools, and a readiness to work in all weather. Training on power tools will be provided, with overtime as needed.

The skilled labourer will work cooperatively with other site staff and sub-trades under the direction of the Lead Carpenter, Site Supervisor and Project Manager.

• 8-10 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Pay:CA$25.00 - CA$30.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities would include but are not limited to:

• Daily general site clean up
• Material Handling
• Assist and take direction from the lead carpenter and site supervisor
• Set-up and tear down of temporary structures (ex. Scaffolding)
• Use of power tools

Key Attributes of a Skilled Labourer:

• Valid Ontario driver's license, as well as transportation to various work sites in Muskoka
• You are capable of climbing ladders and carrying at least 80 pounds
• You have access to your own basic set of hand tools
• You have a keen eye for detail
• You are punctual and reliable
• You are willing to work overtime when necessary to deliver the project on time
• You are able and willing to work in all weather
