Job summary

Atlas Structural Systems is seeking team-oriented workers to build pre-engineered structural components for offsite construction. You will read blueprints, take precise measurements, and connect wooden parts to match designs while using power tools in a safe, productive environment.

We offer a Monday–Friday, full-time indoor workweek with a starting hourly range of $19-$21, RRSP contributions, BlueCross benefits, employee discounts, and opportunities for training and career advancement.

Qualifications

• Safety mindset and willingness to learn; attention to detail and clear communication.
• Comfort with hot/cold/variable temperatures; ability to lift 50lbs.
• Framing experience and construction background seen as assets.

Atlas Structural Systems is a manufacturer specializing in the design and manufacture of pre-engineered structural systems for commercial and residential construction projects in Eastern Canada and the US. Our integrated roof, wall, and floor systems offer proven quality and provide a great deal of benefit and value

Responsibilities

• Work in a team setting to build structural components for offsite construction
• Take measurements and read blueprints/designs.
• Connect wooden components and other materials to match design specifications.
• Daily use of power tools
• Follows procedures and demonstrates safe work behaviors.

Qualifications

• Safety mindset with a willing to learn attitude.
• High attention to detail and strong communication skills.
• Comfortable working in hot, cold, and variable temperatures.
• Framing experience is considered an asset
• Capable of lifting at least 50lbs and working in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with power tools is considered an asset.
• Construction experience is considered an asset.
