Job summary

Kent Building Supplies is seeking a Flooring Associate in Antigonish, NS. You will help customers understand their needs and assist in selecting the right flooring products.

You will make product recommendations to solve customer problems and enhance their shopping experience. Your role involves driving sales through engagement, understanding customer needs, maintaining knowledge of promotions, and producing quotes and material lists.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and teamwork required.
• Experience in sales and customer service.
• Attention to detail is essential.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs.
• Willing to work days/evenings/weekends on rotating shifts.
• Familiarity with computer order systems (D635).
• Grade 12 diploma or equivalent is an asset.

As knowledgeable sales professionals, sales associates can make recommendations which solve customers' problems and enhance their shopping experience.
