Job summary

All Season Weeping Tile is seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher for on-site work in Calgary. You will read blueprints, assist with formwork, place concrete, and finish surfaces to grade while maintaining safety standards.

The role requires 1 year to less than 2 years of experience, ability to work outdoors in dusty, hot, and noisy conditions, and willingness to travel to various sites. This is a physically demanding, hands-on construction position.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year to 2 years of construction experience.
• On-site work at multiple Calgary locations.
• Must be able to work outdoors and lift heavy loads.

Responsibilities

• Check formwork, granular base and steel reinforcement materials.
• Direct placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade
• Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement.
• Operate power vibrators to compact concrete.
• Level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification.
• Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools.
• Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills and other fixtures.
• Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces.
• Waterproof, damp proof and restore surfaces.
• Repair, resurface and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures.
