Qualifications

• Experience with concrete finishing required.
• Must have experience using various hand and power tools.
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and supervise the mixing of concrete.
• Direct pouring, tamps, screeds, floats; prepare for finishing.
• Place and finish concrete floors, sidewalks, and curbs.
• Repair, waterproof, and restore concrete surfaces.

Skills

Experience with concrete finishing

Experience using hand and power tools

Experience using vibrators to consolidate concrete

Experience using floats and darbies

Experience using trowels, edgers and joiners

Experience using brushes and finishing brooms

Education

Certificate: CSTS 2020/ WHMIS
