Job summary

Fairmont Hot Springs Resort in British Columbia is seeking a Ski Instructor to provide safe, engaging ski lessons for guests of all ages and abilities. The role focuses on quality instruction while promoting a welcoming experience on the hill.

Pay for this position is $18.25 per hour. Responsibilities include leading private and group lessons, assisting with larger groups, and supporting terrain park, mountain operations, and ski patrol tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching and working with children as young as three years old.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and varying weather conditions.
• Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check completed as required for positions working with minors.
• CSIA Level 1 Ski Instructor certification or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Delivered private and group ski lessons to guests of varying ages and skill levels.
• Assisted fellow instructors with larger groups to ensure safe, effective, and engaging lessons.
• Assisted with Terrain Park maintenance and setup under supervision of Mountain Operations.

Position Summary - TheSki Instructor is responsible for providing safe, engaging, and effective skiinstruction to guests of all ages and abilities, within the instructor’s levelof training and certification. The position focuses on delivering qualitylessons while promoting a positive, welcoming, and enjoyable experience for allguests.

Minimum Qualifications & Skills:
