Job summary

Premium Construction in Toronto is seeking a skilled Carpenter for a full-time, hybrid role. You will frame, install structural and finish components, and complete interior and exterior carpentry on commercial, industrial, and institutional projects.

You will read plans, measure accurately, operate tools safely, and collaborate with site supervisors and trades to meet quality, safety, and schedule goals. Minimum carpentry experience and strong work ethic required.

Qualifications

Role Description

The Carpenter at Premium Construction is a full-time, hybrid role based in Toronto, ON, with some flexibility for work from home when project needs allow. The Carpenter will perform day-to-day tasks such as framing, installing structural and finish components, and completing interior and exterior carpentry work on commercial, industrial, and institutional projects. Responsibilities include reading and interpreting plans and specifications, setting up and maintaining tools and equipment, measuring and cutting materials, and assembling, installing, and repairing wood and related materials. The Carpenter will work closely with site supervisors and other trades to ensure work is completed safely, accurately, and on schedule, while upholding company standards for quality and craftsmanship. The role also requires adherence to safety protocols, proper housekeeping of work areas, and professional communication with team members and clients as needed.
