Job summary

Parker Huggett - A Division of LRO Staffing in Kelowna, BC, is helping a well-established general contractor hire a Site Superintendent to lead day-to-day construction on ground-up and renovation projects in the Okanagan. The role requires 5+ years on ICI or multi-family sites, strong BC Building Code knowledge, and proven leadership.

Procore experience is a plus; valid driver's license is required; a Construction Management education is an asset.

Job description

Our client, a well-established general contractor delivering ICI and multi-family construction projects across the Okanagan, is looking to add an experienced Site Superintendent to their team in Kelowna, BC. This is a great opportunity for a hands-on construction leader to take ownership of day-to-day site operations on a variety of ground-up and renovation projects, working closely with the project management team to ensure safe, on-time, and on-budget delivery.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Oversee day-to-day on-site construction activities, ensuring work is performed safely, on schedule, and within budget
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, trades, and site personnel
• Enforce site safety programs and ensure compliance with WorkSafeBC and OH&S regulations
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks
• Manage site logistics, material deliveries, and equipment scheduling
• Liaise with the Project Manager, consultants, and clients on project progress, RFIs, and change orders
• Maintain accurate daily site documentation, including reports, schedules, and safety records
• Support project close-out, deficiency management, and warranty items

About You

The successful candidate will have the following:

• 5+ years of experience as a Site Superintendent on ICI and/or multi-family construction projects
• Strong knowledge of the BC Building Code, WorkSafeBC regulations, and construction best practices
• Proven ability to manage multiple trades and subcontractors on active job sites
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with Procore or similar construction management software is an asset
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Post-secondary education in Construction Management or a related field is an asset
